For those of you keeping score at home, M.'s due date was yesterday. Given that I'm typing this message now and not coaching/fainting/swaddling/experiencing a feeling of extreme joy, you can correctly conclude that Malcolm has decided to keep mommy and daddy waiting a bit longer. A sign of things to come? Don't start already, kid. Sheesh.
Unfortunately, M.'s pretty uncomfortable at this point and desperately wants to give birth to this child. I don't blame her but am very proud of her for toughing it out. The things that expectant mothers go through...
Anyway, stay tuned.
Ken, you may want to inform those reading this that the baby's name probably isn't going to be "Malcolm." I got the impression that some may be thinking that way.

Malcolm Liam Smith has a nice ring to it. Or just Liam Smith? Or how about just, "Malcolm" - no last name a la Cher & Madonna?
We're keeping our fingers crossed up here in the great soon-to-be-white north!
