Okay, so it's a couple of days late but here's M.'s latest pic. Honestly, it seems like her belly gets bigger every day. I'm not kidding.
M. had an appoint today with the OB and was told that everything is looking good. M.'s girth is where it should be and the baby's heartbeat was easy to find and strong. Well of course it is, doc, that's my boy, after all.
The doctor gave M. some pamphlets to bring home about classes covering the birth, infant CPR, breastfeeding, etc. One is from a place called the Birth University. No SATs or extracurriculars required - the sole admission criteria is that you can afford to fork over the $450 fee. Hey, it's worth it - you get a complimentary catered lunch! (No word on an open bar, but I remain hopeful.) However, based on what I recently read in My Boys Can Swim!: The Official Guys Guide to Pregnancy, lunch better be served prior to those live birth videos.
Well, things seem to be moving right along...and, speaking of moving - has 'little man' started making his presence know?
I bet the kids in M's class are getting a kick out of watching the change as well!
One simple word of advice regarding giving birth - breath (both of you). As long as you keep breathing and focus your body pretty much takes over.
