Sorry for the lack of posts, folks, but M. and I have been pretty busy these past two weekends.
The weekend before last we were graced with a visit from M.'s sister, Alison, and our niece, Caroline, from Seattle. The ladies all headed out that Saturday to work on the baby registry. (Apparently I don't have much say in these matters. That's okay - I've reserved the right to lead the stroller effort, as I've alluded to previously.) Saturday night we got together with M's other sisters and our brother-in-law for great company and a wonderful dinner. And despite being up so late for such a young lady, Caroline was a real trooper. I can only hope that our little boy will be as chill a baby as she is.
This past weekend M. headed down to the desert to visit with her folks (Nana Gail, for those of you following this blog, and Alan) and was joined by Alison and Caroline. Sounds like they had a good time relaxing time by the pool.
I was down in Louisiana chillin' with the most stylish alligators on the Bayou. They're all very excited about my impending fatherhood.
M. tells me that she thinks she can feel the baby moving when she remains very still and describes the sensation as bubbles in her belly. According to what we've read, this is about the right time for this. The baby is now about 10 inches from head to toe and weighs about 11 ounces.
What we get no pictures of M's belly anymore?

Settle down, Beavis. We'll have some more photos up there soon.

Those bubbles M. feels are indeed "Little Buck" making himself known. As Kathleen said, when the action really gets going, make sure Daddy Ken shares in the sleepless nights! It is an awesome thing though to feel and see them moving about.
